ترویج مشارکت پدر در سیستم رفاه کودکان: Thefrom پدر 2 پدر برنامه آموزشی
Abstract: Societal constructs of fatherhood have led to the formation of misconceptions that view fathers negatively and as uninvolved in the lives of their children. The purpose of this grant writing project was to locate a potential funding source and write a grant for the funding of a mentorship program for fathers who are currently involved with the child welfare system. The proposed program would provide fathers with the support, guidance, and skills necessary to become positive contributors to the lives of their children. An extensive literature review was performed to investigate and identify the best ways to meet the needs of nonresident fathers in the child welfare system; and to gather information needed to establish a foundation for the proposed program. The W. K. Kellogg Foundation was selected as an appropriate potential funder. If funded, this program would assist social workers in better meeting the needs of fathers in the child welfare system. The actual funding and/or submission of this grant were not requirements for the successful completion of this academic requirement.
